Home With A View!
The cabin addition was put on hold for harvest, deer season, and now rain. So far it is coming out better than I planned. It has a nice view of the clouds during the day and stars a night. I am a little concerned about the moisture. Things start to swell after 2 weeks of rain. If it rains another week, I guess I will have 10 foot ceilings instead of 8! My wife was excited to see the indoor pool. Not funny Honey Bunches!
Seems I may have gotten a little carried away with the roof angles. With the time change, it is normally dark before I get to work on the addition. Trying to match compound angles while straddling rafters in the dark is something better left to Batman, or maybe Geometry Man!
A couple weeks ago I thought help had arrived. A motor coach arrived in Salt Creek Township. Instead of Tye Pennington stepping off the bus, it was one of them deer hunters from Branson. We all played along and shouted, “Move That Bus, Move That Bus”! The bus didn’t move though. Can anybody guess what it costs to pull a luxury coach out of the mud? Oh well, life goes on in Salt Creek Township.
Well, I am tryin’ to get the roof on it. Let’s not forget, I am not a carpenter by trade!

Rain can dampen anyone’s projects. I had the same problems the couple of months with off and on rain. Looks great what you have done so far though.
Looks good to me. When can you get started on enclosing the roof?
