Looks like the radio show blew up good this time! Answer this one…
In Tippers vocabulary test, what does the term “Garden Sass” refer too?
Here’s another… What is the most visited park in the National Park System?
And lastly, Another one from the vocabulary tests… What is a “Goozle”?

You got ‘em all Keith, but I already sent out prizes for this trivia episode. Another batch of questions will be on the site Sunday at 6 P.M. Central. Be ready, only one prize, and the first one to get all the answers correct will win!

Garden sass is any kind of leafy green vegetable grown in your garden.
Most visited is Great Smokies by far.
Goozle is either your Adam’s apple or your upper esophagus (the part in your neck.)

Garden sass is what you get when you try to give away squash (zuchini) in August. It’s awful.
Yellow Stone is no doubt the most visited park.
And goozle is the bamboozle you get on Google.
And that’s the word from Idaho. I enjoy your blog, Paul, and keeping us with rural America. By the way, what’s blog-radio (or is it radio-blog)?

The old folks back home craved garden-sass especially during the winter months. Most any green, leafy vegetable was garden-sass – including cressy-greens and branch lettuce. Don’t think skunk cabbage appealed.
As for the most visited park, I’m thinking that the Blue Ridge Parkway has the most people visiting, (and traveling) but I’m not sure if it is considered a ‘Park’ such as Yellow Stone or the Smokies, etc.
Mountain folks were always filling up their goozle with a powerful swallow of home-brew. It is the Adam’s Apple – or in some cases, the entire throat area.

Paul from Salt Creek here. Man! This was tough! Since everybody tried at all three questions, I was forced to pick the first to get all 3 correct. Charles Fletcher nailed all of them right off the bat. He gets a copy of “Just Over The Next Ridge”. Marshall McClung’s spelling almost knocked him out, but he can have second place and “Laughter In Appalachia”. It took Lonnie 2 tries, but he still got them all in for 3rd place. He will receive “More Laughter In Appalachia” Some of you were close, sorry Cindy, my judges threw out Smoker Mountain. At least no one answered Jelly Stone, Ha Ha! Thanks for playing, I will get some more in here soon.

Not sure about garden sass but probably greens from the garden. The most visited park is the Great Smoky Mountains National park. A Goozle is an adam’s apple?
Nicely designed home page. Love the wood and muted colors!

When I think of “sass” I think of the tops from vegetables in the garden, such as turnip greens.
I believe The Great Smoky Mountain National park to be the most visited national park. I know it’s the only one that we have visited over and over again.
Where I grew up, “Goozle” was a common name for a man’s Adam’s Apple. That’s how I use it.
By the way, you have a great looking site and it’s well written. I’ll come back again.
Thanks for having Tipper on your show. She is loved by many people. I listened to that particular show and then from there I visited your previous show.
I wish you the best and I’ll be back.

I love your blog. I’m a friend of Tippers and she was talking about you. You are so funny. I think garden sass is greens, I heard that the Blue Ridge Mtn was the most visited but I would think Yosimite and a goozle would have to be an Adam’s apple.
I loved the post about facebook !!!!
